You are vital to the success of our program! There are so many ways to use your skills and talents to help our school! Below are just a few ideas...

Classroom Helpers

Classroom helpers are an important part of our classrooms at Montessori Children’s House. Helpers can participate in many ways, such as preparing materials, working with students individually or in small groups, correcting papers, and accompanying us on field trips. Landscaping/Gardening

Please help us beautify our school. E-mail us if you would like to help us landscaping, gardening, or lawn care. A great activity to so with the children or on your own at your leisure.

Cultural Celebrations/Parties

Come help us learn about other cultures and their special celebrations. A great way to share your heritage with your child and their classmates. E-mail us and let us know what culture or celebration you would like to share.

Field Trip Chaperones

A parent chaperone and some Montessori Children's House students on a hay ride!Accompany your child and their class on one of the many field trips that we take throughout the year. Permission slips and volunteer request forms will be sent home before each field trip. All you have to do is sign up on the form! Do you know of a great place for a field trip? Many of our field trips have been suggested or arranged by parents. Please e-mail us and let us know where you would like us to take our next field trip!

Project/ Job Preparation

Help us get ready for art projects or make new jobs for the classroom. This is an easy way to help out while watching TV at home. E-mail us and let us know you want to help prepare projects and jobs!

School Cleaning and Maintenance

Help us make and keep our school clean and beautiful. Please let us know if you have special skills in this area, such as painting, home repair, plumbing, etc. A great way to help out on the weekends or in the evening. E-mail us and let us know how you would like to help maintain our school.

These are just some ideas, but there are countless ways to give of your time and share your skills and talents with Montessori Children's House.
