Children in the after-school program at Montessori Children's House

Before School Program

Montessori Children's House provides before school care from 7:00-am 8:30 am everyday that school is in session. The before school care is $1.50 per day or $5/wk whichever is less. Children are welcome to sit in the kitchen and eat their breakfast, color or play with manipulative toys. This is the teacher's prep time, so we ask that this service only be used by those parents who need to be at work early. Children who arrive at 8am or after will not be charged. The before care is available in the Big School building (on 4th Ave). Please e-mail us to reserve a space for your child.

After-school Daycare Information

The daycare hours are from 2:30-5:30pm. The daycare is open and closed with the school. The daycare is run out of the school by the teachers. You must register your child to use this service which is provided as an extension of the school for working parents. SPACES ARE LIMITED AND WILL BE GIVEN ON A 1ST COME 1ST SERVE BASIS. Please e-mail us to reserve a space for your child.

Wrap Around Childcare

Many working parents have expressed concern about finding suitable childcare during school vacations and breaks.

We are proposing offering wrap around childcare to Montessori Children’s House and Montessori Children Garden students during these breaks that do not happen on typical holidays (i.e. Christmas, Thanksgiving, & 4th of July). This childcare would be offered at Montessori Children’s Garden from 7:30 am- 5:30 pm. It would be run by teachers and qualified parents (who are certified in CPR and First Aid and have been trained by our teachers). Please e-mail Jamie Sellhorn if you are interested in this service.
