Summer Camps 2008

Little Chefs: June 9th-July 3rd

Join us as we cook up a great time! We will be learning all about different fruits and vegetables and even be growing some of our own! Children will be participating in all steps of baking bread and muffins. We will also be peeling and cutting fruit and squeezing our own fresh orange juice! Camp will culminate with a field trip to pick our own strawberries! For children ages 1-3!

Under the Sea: July 7th-31st

Come under the sea with us as we learn all about fish, whales, sharks, sea horses, manatees, and crabs! The children will participate in lots of hands-on activities such as going “fishing” in the water table and making a large under the sea wall mural. Camp will culminate with a field trip to the Indianapolis Zoo to see the dolphin show and pet sharks! For children ages 1-3!

Young Magicians Camp: June 9th-July 3rd

Children will enjoy learning the art of illusion as they become amateur magicians able to perform tricks for their friends and family. In the spirit of Montessori, children will learn the science behind the magic as they explore all types of prestidigitation. For children ages 4-9!

 

Dinosaur Adventure Camp: July 7th-31st

Children get an up close look at our ancient world. We learn all about prehistoric life, have "real" dinosaur digs, examine true fossils and even act as paleontologists as we reassemble dinosaur bones. Our camp ends with a trip to the Dinosphere at the Children's Museum on July 31st. For children ages 4-9!
